Current Favourites in the Vicinity of my Bedroom

My mother brought this home from Japan and I was extremely indifferent about it, but I did use it and the quality is fantastic. Unlike cheap kohl liners, this one draws on really smoothly like a gel liner would and does not become blunt quickly whilst still being soft. Lancome cosmetics are by far my favourite but I don't always wish to invest a lot of money on makeup as I don't often use any.

2. ICS lipstick*
This was sent to me mysteriously in the post earlier this year and it was kind of sitting around in the cupboard for a few months but I decided it was the perfect shade to pair with my formal dress (not showing you). I'm not sure what the shade is called or where you can buy the lipstick because everything is in Korean.  It's a really dark shade of red with a sort of black and purple base. Another positive thing about this lipstick is the good coverage however it is not thick and rather liquidy so there are times where it smudges easily or when you pucker your lips, the colour is pushed onto the edges. It also has a bit of a funny smell, not particularly a bad one but one I'd rather not there.

I've had this mascara for a really long time but I haven't been fond of it until now. It isn't clumpy at all and the bristles are solid and doesn't flick mascara everywhere. Unlike my other mascaras, the brush bristles don't mat down and stick together over time and they stay nice and firm. This mascara does run because it isn't a waterproof one so if you have eyelashes that point downwards, i suggest you curl them before you apply otherwise it will melt onto your undereye during the day. It's double the price of a drugstore mascara but if you're a frequent user, it's worth the money.

Vintage Doctor Martens || Socks by American Apparel
I needed new school shoes so I was shopping around and i tried on a pair of 1461's in store, but they're selling them for a ridiculous price of $180. I searched online and came across this pair on Gumtree, I bought it for only $70 and when they arrived I was quite surprised because they were a style I hadn't quite seen before. I spent a couple of weeks thinking these were fake but they were actually a 1980's model made in England. Basically good on my bargain hunting skills!!These took me about a week to break in because they were second hand and already partially broken in. People constantly talk about the quality of docs made in England and I have to agree in some aspects. The leather is a lot more rigid and doesn't scratch as easily, but it bends in all strange ways. The stitching on the edges are uneven, but that doesnt really bother me. The sole is thicker and more supportive than the Dr. Martens boots  that I have, both the modern 1460's.

Snow Fairy Shower Gel by Lush
If you read other blogs, I'm sure you've seen the majority of people raving about the qualities of this tiny shower gel. I received one of these in a gift last year and I've just been waiting eagerly for Lush Christmas to sell this again. It smells absolutely amazing, quite like the stereotypical bubblegum and fairy floss. As opposed to many other gels, the snow fairy scent stays on you after a shower. I guess you could also use this on your hair, I did last year and it worked perfectly fine even though people tell you not to use shower gels for hair. The formula is gentle and will not irritate your skin.

Sorry for not posting after two weeks, (why am I not trying to make my blog better?!?!?!!!). I simply had nothing to say last week. Also as you can see my camera quality isn't superb as I downgraded from a Canon 60D to a Canon 400D along with bad lighting and improper raw image processing. I hope these problems of mine will be dealt with soon and I'll blog more :)
